  Blue Diamond (Rounder CD 0293)

The ninth Rounder album by America's premier traditional bluegrass band was their first album after reuniting in 1991 and features a repertoire that includes songs that go back to brother duets and old time string band sounds of the 1930s, to classic mountain bluegrass, to country music of the 1950s, mixed in with newer songs by Bob Dylan, Hazel Dickens and Jean Ritchie alongside originals by lead singer Dudley Connell. This is considered by many to be the finest album of the band's career. Grammy finalist.
